Countdown to Zero reveals the truth behind an issue on which human survival itself hangs – the very real possibility of nuclear disaster. From the producers of An Inconvenient Truth, Countdown is a chilling wake up call about the urgency of the nuclear threat.
Nice and Serious, one of the UK’s leading environmental video production companies, will be hosting a UK premiere of Countdown to Zero in collaboration with Dogwoof as part of their ethical cinema club ‘Green Wednesdays‘. Green Wednesdays is lucky enough to be holding the ONLY Ambassador premiere in London which will taking place on Tuesday 21st June (yes, Tuesday, not Wednesday…) Demand Zero Day, and will host a post-film Q&A streamed live from BAFTA featuring her majesty Queen of Jordan, ex-CIA Valerie Plame, Former Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett and Quentin Tarantino’s producer Lawrence Bender (also producer of the film). As with the last Green Wednesdays event, tickets are limited, so if you fancy being involved in this uber-exclusive red carpet event, get busy and order your tickets from the Green Wednesdays website.

The international Global Zero movement launched in December 2008 includes more than 300 political, military, business, faith and civic leaders — and hundreds of thousands of citizens — working for the phased, verified elimination of all nuclear weapons worldwide.
Global Zero members believe that the only way to eliminate the nuclear threat — including proliferation and nuclear terrorism — is to stop the spread of nuclear weapons, secure all nuclear materials and eliminate all nuclear weapons: global zero.
